Tonawanda Mining is a strategic, US-Zambian enterprise dedicated to the ethical, sustainable discovery and development of critical mineral assets in Zambia. Our mission is to monetize high-value Copper, Gold, and Cobalt (Cu–Au–Co) resources through the use of modular technology and deep community integration. With a flagship operation at the Mumbwa project and strategic licenses near world-class deposits, we are building a secure, transparent supply chain for the minerals essential to modern industry.

The Mumbwa project serves as our premier asset, featuring a potential of 2-4 million ounces of gold and 1 million tons of copper . We are currently executing an exploration campaign to improve resource definition and publish an inaugural NI 43-101 report.
Our Northwest Province license is an 1,196 hectare large-scale exploration license located immediately west of the FQM Trident Mining Complex and south of the Ivanhoe Kamoa mine. The license offers direct exposure to Zambia’s largest Copper-Cobalt belt and favorable geology suggests Tier-1 copper-gold discovery potential.
Our Mingomba license is a 698 hectare small-scale exploration license in the Copperbelt Province and contains a sediment-hosted copper and cobalt mineral system. The license is in close proximity the Kobold Metals Mingomba Project.
